Thanks a lot everyone for coming !

Saab friends throughout Europe, I would like to invite you all to the largest Saab event ever organised in the South of Belgium, the 15th and 16th September, 2007.  On the occasion of the sixtieth anniversary of our favourite brand, I’ve decided to welcome you to my beloved home town, Huy, for a special week-end. All Saabs are most welcome, and I hope to see you in huge numbers from all over Europe. For those of you who will be able to join us on the Saturday, the week-end will start with an informal get-together around a few good Belgian beers, followed by a relaxed and friendly dinner. On the Sunday, between 10 am. and 2 pm, the actual meeting will start in a beautiful part of the town. I am counting on you to arrive with a large number of cars, properly representing the greatness of Saab, so that we can select the most beautiful Saab of the week-end! Following that, we’ll head off for a small road trip, either as a convoy or with a road-book describing the route. A tour of the town and trips on the aerial cable-car will also be available.

We’ll end the week-end  with the large BBQ of the Saabclub.be

Please note that this event is open to all SAAB lovers, whether they drive a Saab 92 from 1950 or a Saab 9-5 from 2007! You don’t need to be a member of any clubs or organisations, you just need to love Saabs! This meeting is supposed to be a feast for all SAAB owners!     The event is free of charge (except for meals and drinks) and requires no pre-subscription. You can join us whenever you like on Sunday between 10am and 2pm.  However, to help with the organisation, for those who want to take part in our dinner on the Saturday evening, I’d like to ask that you send an email to e2m@skynet.be with “repas samedi” in the subject line mentioning how many would like to join. Please don’t hesitate to contact me if you have any questions! Etienne M. Morsa, also known as SaabHuy.
